Backend & distributed systems engineer working on Amazon Business international expansion. I build production systems with Java, TypeScript, and AWS, with a focus on reliability, scale, and solutions that stay simple to operate.
Production engineering with measurable impact.
Backend, platform, and international expansion work shipped at scale.
Engineering effort saved during expansion by automating the creation and maintenance of operational metrics.
Applications gained right-to-left support through an update to a shared component library.
Contributed to a major infrastructure deprecation by migrating a subscription upsell system to a modern content framework.
Backend systems. Global products.
A selection of production work across distributed systems, platform engineering, and international launches.
Made content operations self-service.
Migrated a business subscription upsell experience from a legacy renderer to a modern content framework. The new system supports ~18 configurable variations and lets non-engineers schedule updates without code changes.
Turned RTL support into a platform capability.
Updated buttons, tables, dropdowns, and cards in a shared UI library to support right-to-left languages—resolving 40 rendering issues and creating a reliable path for teams launching in new regions.
Untangled compliance across five services.
Traced authorization and invoice generation failures through five interdependent backend services, enabling customers with multiple legal entities to generate compliant e-invoices under fast-moving regulatory constraints.
Backend engineer.
Curious builder.
I’m a Software Development Engineer II at Amazon, currently working on Amazon Business international expansion. Most of my day-to-day work sits around backend services and distributed systems: understanding how systems behave in production, tracing problems across service boundaries, and building changes that can scale across markets.
I enjoy turning complicated problems into simple, reliable solutions. My main stack is Java, TypeScript, and AWS, but I’ve also worked across computer vision, developer tooling, frontend platforms, and applied AI—experience that helps me look at engineering problems from more than one angle.
Backend-first. Production-minded.
